WE ARE A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION

If you are looking for a great place to ride your horse, you've found it. P & M Arena has much to offer. Our fine arena connects with miles of scenic riding trails. You may rent one or both arenas for your event. There is a day use fee of $5.00 for non-menbers to use the arena when there are no events. Become a member of our club and you have the use of the arenas seven days a week from 6AM to 10PM, when no events are scheduled. Lights are provided free for riding on Thursday nights from 7PM to 10PM, or lights are available for a nominal hourly fee. You can join any one of a number of events held each month.
We do ask that you pick up all trash and horse manure before leaving the grounds.

During the summer months, when the arena gets dry and dusty water can be purchased at a nominal fee, by contacting Laura ( grounds keeper ).

The Brief History of P&M Arena

P&M was Developed as non-profit organization, run strickly by volunteers.

P&M was started by a few interested people, some of who are still members, first organized in December 14, 1962.
In October 1965, a corral was started in the Bayless Shopping Center in Apache Jct. for club activites.
In May 1966, P&M Trailriders became incorporated.
In 1974, due to City development, the club was asked to find a new location for the arena.
Bud Jones, then President of the arena, contacted BLM and P&M was granted a renewable 5yr. lease of 20 acres, located in Maricopa County on the Northwest corner of County Line Road (currently Meridian Road) and Brown Road.

Over the years the arena held many events, from Junior High Rodeos, Lost Dutchman's Days Rodeo, Gymkhanas, Horse Shows, cattle was introduce in 1990's.

Today P&M's members, and volunteers enjoy many good times and hard work, keeping the arena a great place to come have fun enjoy friends and their animals.
